The annual award, which carries a $1,000 honorarium and plaque, recognizes authors for the "most outstanding" article, technical paper, or other document published by ISA. The award was presented during the ISA‘s Honors and Awards Gala held in conjunction with the ISA EXPO 2007 in Houston on Monday, October 1, 2007. Process Automation Hall of Fame member Terrence L.
