St. Louis, Missouri – Belden （NYSE:BDC）, a world leader in the development of signal transmission solutions, has completed purchase of the assets of Lumberg Automation Components from The Lumberg Group for an undisclosed cash price. Lumberg Automation is a leading supplier of industrial connectors, high performance cord-sets and field bus communication components for factory automation machinery. The company‘s 2006 revenues were approximately $75 million. "Lumberg Automation is a well respected supplier of industrial connectors to leading equipment OEMs. The company provides both standard and customized solutions to meet the connectivity requirements of a wide range of industrial customers," said John Stroup, President and Chief Executive Officer of Belden.
