The new mine hoist system will be used to hoist ore from the new main haulage level, M1250, located at 1,250 meter level in LKAB’s mine at Malmberget. ABB’s solution will help the mine increase its overall output and productivity. ABB’s delivery includes both mechanical and electrical equipment, such as pulley and shaft, brake system, skips, measuring pockets, System 800xA control system, motor, drive system ACS 6000 SD, installation as well as commissioning.
